Donation to Marsascala Public Library

Bank of Valletta has donated a collection of books to the Marsascala Local Council. These books will be placed in the Marsascala branch library for the benefit of the people of the community.

MaLIA welcomes such initiatives that are taken by the private sector to sustain local libraries and urges other private entities to help our public libraries develop their collections. Public libraries have an important role to play in our society but need to be adequately sustained to be able to offer the services expected from them.
