Books and footballs from Yellow Pages

Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd recently took the initiative of collecting a considerable number of books for children and adolescents in order to donate them to the Marsa local library. A total of 365 books were collected from all 75 members of Yellow Pages staff who took a great interest in the activity.

The collection served multiple purposes, namely to donate the books to the Mayor of Marsa, Mr Frans Debono, who in turn passed them on to the public library housed within the Marsa public school. The hefty collection has now boosted the book selection available for the youngsters who use this library for leisure and study reading. Another purpose behind this initiative is to recycle books which can be utilised in a better way rather than being left to languish unused in bookcases after they have been read.

This compliments another Yellow Pages eco-friendly initiative which was the recent tree planting event held also within the Marsa locality in a bid to not only improve the quality of life but also the ambience for the wellbeing of the locality’s citizens.
