Digital libraries for women's shelter

Microsoft Malta's first corporate volunteering project saw employees visiting Dar Qalb ta' Ġesú in Sta Venera for a community day.

Dar Qalb ta' Ġesú is a shelter for women and children who have experienced domestic violence. During the event, two rooms were plastered and painted by the volunteers to convert them into digital libraries.

The Malta Communications Authority teamed up with Microsoft Malta specifically for the event. The MCA donated five refurbished computers with Windows and Office installed on them for use in the digital libraries.
