MaLIA Chairman replies to article

The MaLIA Chairman, Laurence Zerafa, has replied to an article that appeared in The Times ofr Malta (23 July 2009) entitled Insufficent place for an electronic library, written by journalist Fiona Galea Debono,

In his letter, Mr Zerafa refers to comments made by the journalist and reiterates a number of facts related to the MaLIA proposal for a public library to be included in the City Gate project. The letter quotes Renzo Piano and his directr reference to a public library being included in the project. Mr Zerafa also refers to the sudden change of plans as a lost opportunity but notes with satisfaction recent developments in the local public library scene.
