Courses in Library, Information and Archive Studies from October 2009 The Division of Library, Information and Archive Studies within the Centre for Communications Technology (CCT), University of Malta will be starting new courses as from coming October. The courses are the following: Bachelor in Library, Information & Archive Studies (B.LIAS). This will be spread over five years. Diploma in Library and Information Studies: Two-year diploma level course. Diploma in Archives and Records Management: Two-year diploma course.
The three courses will be offered on a part-time basis, with lectures given between 5-8pm. Besides local experts, the courses would include study-units lectured by foreign specialists in the respective fields. The courses are aimed towards individuals who currently work in different types of libraries, archives or information centres as well as towards those aspiring for such careers.
