Accessibility to historical research

In another letter to The Sunday Times (8 April, 2007), Prof. Mario Buhagiar, President, Malta Historical Societry, updates the readers with developemts re the Hansard Collection.

The letter states that the Historical Society is reliably informed that around 300 volumes of the Hansard Collection have been transferred to the National Archives where they are being cleaned and treated.

Prof. Buhagiar expresses his thanks to the Minister and the Directors of the National Library and the National Archives following their prompt action to resolve the matter raised in the same newspaper last month.
