The Friends of the National Archives of Malta has drawn up a list of proposals for the three political parties to include in their electoral programme.

Just published - A collection of papers and a catalogue of the exhibition “Giovanni Pietro Francesco Agius de Soldanis – an eighteenth century Gozitan, ecclesiastic and scholar” organised by the Ministry for Gozo, Heritage Malta, Malta Libraries and the University of Malta between September and November 2012.

The idea of a ‘Human Library’ came from the Sociology Department at the Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary School, Naxxar.

The centre has its own conference facility and library where historic text, maps and publications, as well as modern day research works and current scientific field restoration analysis will be found under one roof.

The relocation of the National Museum of Fine Arts to Auberge D’Italie, in Valletta, is well under way with the curators and the library already in their new location.

The first edition of the world’s first set of encylopedia, the Encyclopédie, ou Dictionnaire Raisonné des Sciences, des Arts et des Métiers, will be undergoing restoration thanks to the support of the Institute for Maltese Culture.
